REACH

Anyone come across it yet.

I looked into it yesterday. makes COSHH look like a kindergarten regulation.

The guideline booklet is 74 pages long on its own. Quite a far reaching chemicals control regulation. And dont just think its for nasty liquid chemicals only. Steel for example is defined as a special preparation and needs to be registered under the new EU law.

We are a company of 250 people, and we have 3 people who deal with REACH full time! It's a PITA.

My Girlfriend who's BREEAM certified currently is looking to get REACH certified IIRC.... reckons it's where the money's gonna be soon.

Cheers,
James

All these certificates are like expensive chain letters and they have to keep making new ones up when people get used to and start ignoring the old ones. If you haven't got this or that certificate you can't deal with us so there
