I understand there can be 'sacrificial anode' corrosion problems when using stainless screws in alloy, under what circumstances does this occur?

I've used stainless screws for my zetec manifolds, all with threadlock, will I have problems?

They are commonly used to replace bike engine casing screws without any problems.

Plenty of threadlock will help by keeping the moisture out and you may well have no problems.
- However its always the case that stainless/aluminum alloy is less than ideal combination.

But if nothing else, the severity will vary with the grade of stainless, and the alloy in question, as well as proximity of water and salt!

Thanks Chaps, I'll not worry about it, they've a decent blob of loctite, and are in a dry environment - no water in the zetec inlet....
