I am after a replacement for my abussed passat TDI estate but I think the chances of talking Wiffie into re-morgaging the house so I can have one are erm Slim.

but I like the look of them - VW seem to be able to produce good looking estates ( i prefer the passat estate to the saloon ) now there is a discusion point

Flowers and chocolate together naa she would be giving me the 'what have you done wrong - bought now speech'

Though the romatic trip to the eden project was well received - the detor to collect the gearbox received a frosty reception.

And they'll practically be giving them away in the auction rooms in a couple of years time when nobody can afford petrol any more ....

A two year old V8 Disco with all the gear on it and regular mileage went for £4.5k a couple of weeks ago.
