So who's going then, and on which day?

I'll be there Saturday.

Damn, It seems i'm going to be in the country this year and its not even going to be worth it! Knew I should have gone skiing.

stephen_gusterson - 5/1/04 at 08:55 PM

dave

I went about 1999 - and my opinion is the same as yours. Nice if you want to see lots of F1 show cars and the odd touring car driver, but not a lot else.

bob - 6/1/04 at 07:08 PM

WOMEN,bursting at the seams last year, might have been somrthing to do with the 3 good looking blokes walking round the show

theconrodkid - 6/1/04 at 07:20 PM

looks like ill be there sunday if anyone wants to say ello

stephen_gusterson - 6/1/04 at 07:20 PM

when I went - which was late 90's - I didnt see any women worth remembering now, or anything much to buy.

but then I wasnt looking to buy anything cos I hadnt had the car building affliction at that time.

Seemed to me to be a showcase of racing technology and not much else - oh - and the 'live action arena' and go car track.

perhaps it was having a 12 and 10 year old with me that limited my scope

I had been to the Autosport show for approximately 5 years in a row. It finally dawned on me that it was costing me a lot of money to see pretty much the same show I had walked around the year before, and the year before that....

If you have never been before, I would certainly recommend going, if only to marvel at the world of motorsport close up. With everything from the miniscule technology (as in small, but perfectly formed) of karts, to Top Fuel dragsters, everybodys taste is catered for.

To whoever is going, have a nice day.

Oh, and p.s. TAKE A PACKED LUNCH WITH YOU, or re-mortgage your house....!

chrisg - 6/1/04 at 10:40 PM

Or be on a "corporate hospitality" jolly.....

Cheers

Chris

will try and show my dedication to the cause next month - if I dont get posted to korea for a week as is being threatended.

You dont want me giving full details of my recent bedrooom decorating - thats all I have done for a bit - car has been pushed on hold last 2 weeks

anyway, gives you a better chance with the babes if im not there

gotta turn up soon anyway - to show off my new company car - if and when I get it. Im agonising wether to take the money and run a crap wagon and be quids in or have something nice.

My mate gets his scoobie in a couple weeks - that will be interesting!

Those women might be there too. If you come along tomorrow night it might jog your memory.

Cheaper than paying to get into the show anyway. Just a thought....

See you there?

Dave

chrisg - 7/1/04 at 09:33 PM

I'll be counting chests (it always comes to an odd number for some reason)

so any 1 been 2 day, if so how was it,

p.s. if it is a bad coment i dont want 2 no

chrisg - 8/1/04 at 10:48 PM

Well, I enjoyed it!

Two more halls than last year and some very nicecars.

Don't miss the Ferrari display, had one of my favorites - the 250 GTO.

Totty wise, highlights were the twins in the silky white pants and the five birds in the skin tight red see through cat suits and their matching tiny red thongs - lovely.

It has to be said that as an ad for the companies concerned it was rubbish, I can't remember what or who they were promoting!!

Cheers

Chris

well i can say she didnt, she probly did more than me

and i thought it was quite good, but the live action arena was a bit dissapointing, £10 4 40 mins, where as it only costs £10 4 a full day of racing @ outlon park
