What a load of balls....

How is the same chassis going to be a high performance sports car AND a pickup truck....

this has been on the cards for years.

I'm a mechanic and see lots of cars with faulty electrics, weather it be by water ingress or simply software failure. I wouldn't like to be in one of those cars when the brakes or steering software packs up.

i totally agree with you, at least when your power steering goes down youve got "power-less" steering, not no power over your steering!

and how can steering by electric signals be far faster reacting than a direct mechanical link to the wheels??

lol @ "steering using a mouse"

"Man dies when dirt gets in rollerball"

"3 die when mouse jumps off mouse mat when car goes over bump round a corner"

Its not, its just marketing crap.

Just give me a 1965 supercharged 302 mustang and everyone else can drive one of those.

It can if some computer decides to swerve before you're brain gets through it's reaction time.
Now that would be a scary ride
