I'm just about to start scrubbing my bits in paraffin. Will they then be ready for painting straight away or will I have to degrease first?

Parafin leaves a slightly oil film behind. I normally give me bits a scrub with a wire brush anyway ('fin rarely gets all the shite off anyway).

Other times, I just paint over it, never had any problems.

There's a joke there, but it's just too damn easy!

Hi, Reminded me of a mate that washed his bits in bleach! It didn't work.
He not only had to go to to the pox clinic in the end but get treatment for chemical burns as well!
