5th Gear

Well i thought it was Top Gear that did the stupid things in the name of entertainment, and 5th Gear that was more of a journalistic approach and a proper car programme - but now 5th Gear are loading sacks of spuds into 7 (or 8) seaters and drawing faces on them!! Stupid road test IMHO!!! First time i've watched 5th Gear in ages - is this how its going these days???

Didnt see that bit but i did see james toseland in the aston martin! Now thats a nice car!

Must admit - I saw it too. I thought the Spud test was a bit pointless but the rest of the program seemed ok. It does seem to have employed the same producer/director as T.G. which is a shame as 5G I thought was a little more informative and "grown up". Still... if it sells it sells...

Well we all know that 5th gear are jealous of TG. Thats why they burned down TG's warehouse

Personally I love TG and have accepted the fact that most of it's not about cars. I think it's very entertaining, although I'm getting a bit bored of the star in a reasonably priced car. I've always thought 5th gear tries to hard and the bloke with the curly hair does my head in!
