Once more I managed to get selected for the British Savate team to fight at the World Championships in Paris this weekend.

For those not in the know, it's a bit like kickboxing:

I got a Silver medal at the European champs last year and a Bronze at the Worlds the year before.... so fingers crossed for this time!
Both times I was beaten by the same Frenchman, and I know he's gonna be there this year- time for some payback!


We're sending a pretty big team this year, including a previous World Silver, European Gold and 3 European Silver medalists... so Britain is fielding a pretty experienced team. The other teams to look out for are France (of course!), Belgium, and Eastern Europe like Croatia.

Anyway, assuming Eurostar are ok tomorrow and we make the weigh-in.... wish us luck!!!!
