remember my rant about AF insurance for my land rover?
no?
ok, to recap renewal came but had a £ 25 renewal fee!!
someone on here said they told AF to remove it if they wanted him to renew and they did.
anyways, rang up today for a quote and quote is same as last year, well, same as the renewal but without the renewwal fee!!
so how does that work then?
weirder is that I am no longer a member of lightweight owners club and the renewal is the same as previous, which I assume they quoted me as being
memeber.
so how does that one work?
anyways, I am happy bunny,
hopefully get MOT after next week and do some heavy duty petrol burning, well, the world is doomed anyway.
I think it works on the principle that insurance premiums are guesswork and blaggage. IE they'll screw whatever they think they can out of
you.
They sent me a premium which went up by 200% I "found" a cheaper quote and they said they'd reduce my premium by £120 without changing
anything on the policy!! WTF!!!!
I've been told NFU are good for Land Rover insurance.
You don't need to be a farmer!

Adrian flux really are a bunch of cnuts.. when i was with them some years ago they raelly tried to screw me over after i had an accident in my MR2,
and then went on to buy another car since the MR2 was written off.
On SXOC lots of people had problems with them.. it got so bad at one stage that someone from Adrian Flux joined the forum to try and help with peoples
issues, and get some custom back
I have not had insurance withthem for a while, but, when they insured my Lotus Sunbeam, and it was stolen, thet paid out full valuation price (ie, more than open retail probably) without any hesitation. Premium price isn't everything.
