Well I made it through the super high dose chemotherapy and and am on day +2 after receiving my stem cells back still feel pretty poo though!
I had a bad reaction to the preservative they use for the stem cells but apart from that its just weathering the next week until I start to produce my
own white cells and red cells and platelets.
Interestingly its not been thinking about the 7 which has kept me going but converting my rover 216 to hillclimb spec?? Oh well what ever grabs your
knackers!!
Thinking of you mate, but I'll leave your knackers alone
Keep chin up
John

Best wishes mate, keep ya chin up.
Are there any hill climb courses run down hill, as you may need it in the Rover!
Steve
best wishes fella!

Not a lot you can say other than all the best & hope it goes as well as you could hope - just look for the light at the end of the tunnel.

no its the bog standard 1.6 unfortunately. Theres no reason why one of them can't find its way in there though
ATB Liam.
All the good wishes in the world to you Liam
Fozzie
Chin up & best wishes, i guess if you're thinking of a 216 you're back in blighty. Next time do you come home would you mind bringing
some decent weather with you
I find obsessing over the car keeps a lot of unhealthy thoughts away!! It's great you can get on here and see what's up though.
Liam
Hopefully, the uphill part's now over and done, and fingers crossed that all's well!
ATB
Simon
not back in blighty yet but the wife and i are going to buy a nice diesel when we get back. so my beautifully maintained 216 is getting throttle bodies, some nice stick tyres and is going on a diet

ATB - wishing you speedy recovery...
As above with the best wishes. Can't be easy or nice.
I have a Golf VR6 that would be perfect to convert to a track car. Quite fancy sprints and hillclimbs but would probably never get round to it at the
moment. May look again when the kids leave home.

Liam - we U2U'd some time ago. Are you keeping a track of your white cell count? Presumably you're stuck in isolation until that picks
up.
I seem to remember them saying the preservative would smell like cabbage - seemed more like raw meat to me, but then again I was pretty well worn out
by it all.
