Have two new internal glazed paneled door can't make up my mind whether to paint or stain , so I was wondering if I could use something like Sadolin on them , and then paint over with satinwood if I change my mind.

Will it bleed through , could it be sealed with summat?

If it does bleed through then a spirit based paint such as Stain Stop will work.

Sadolin is an oil based coloured varnish...
You can paint over it with an oil based paint....

Give it a good sanding to knock off the gloss, and remove any flaking - just like painting over ordinary paint.
