coozer - 8/10/08 at 08:14 PM

is there anything i can clean or rub onot the inside of my windscreen to either stop it misting up on a morning or clear quicker once I have the fan on??

I have to drive off into the sun every morning and its a bit dangerous at times

"Rain-X Anti Fog" or similar - should be available from Halfords or similar stores near the cleaning products somewhere. Seemed to work pretty well on my tintop

a bar of soap rubbed inside the window then buffed off is supposed to work. whenever i tried it, i always ended up with a foamy window. might be coz i've always tried doing it when its already misted up

Or if you can't aford a bar of soap. A potato cut in half and rubbed on the screen should do the some! LOL

Not tried it myself, but hear of a guy that used this before.

Cheers

one thing i have found is amazing is the insert for Arai motorbike helmets, the anti fog bit is amazing, no matter how much you try and fog it up it just dont, the only downside if that my skid lid cost £330 in a sale but it is so good
