Our kangoo has developed a new problem. The indicators dont work nor do the hazards but the lights still flash when i lock/unlock them. The fuse is ok so am i right in thinking its the relay?
nor do mine, they go on, then off, then on, then off, then on, then off, then on, then off, then on, then off, then on, then off .....
.... anyways you have verified the fuse, bulbs and wiring is ok by them flashing with the central unlocking.
the relay would be t he first place to look at - can you hear it click? (should be able to unless it is some fance silent electronic thing).
yep relay clicks
Does anyone know where the relays are located? I cant find them and it doesnt seem to say in the manual

handy tip there
Try the side of the dash inside the drivers door
The flasher will probably be near the fuse box. The flash will be done by the immobiliser electrics but it does show that it is most likely the flasher unit at fault. It may just be a wire off or broken.
Renault - 'piece of French crap' as I always say to my best mate who has a Scenic. I had a new Espace, spent more time back at Renault,
mostly electrical faults - I think they are the new Italians when it comes to electrics.
Sorry, rant over .....
They sure like to make the electrics complicated. I've been going through the Haynes wiring diagram on my Megane to try and work out why the rear
driver side window doesn't work! Blimey. It's like spaghetti!!
Talk about overly complicated!!
I think they are the new Italians. The Megane even has a problem with rusty wiring looms!!!
Wiring problems + Rust = ITALIAN
(up until now!!!!!)
