LOL...The Yanks make me laugh!

It was proberably a flock of birds or a fault with their radar system.... what self respecting alien would travel across the universe and land in Norwich or all places.....I doubt it!

I like the one about a missile shaped object that passed the alitalia jet in 1991. Give me 2 guesses what the high-speed missile-shaped object in the sky was.

Perhaps they'd come for Delia?

Perhaps, when she had her drunken rant at the Canaries fans a couple of years back she was actually taunting the aliens:
"Where are you? Let's be having you!"

Mr Torres, now 77, said: "I was smoking, as fast as I could go. This thing had a different propulsion system. It was not an airplane."

What exactly was he smoking?

I should think something as big as a carrier and travelling at 16000 mph would leave an interesting sonic boom + shockwave - wonder how many windows it broke in England

woodster - 20/10/08 at 12:08 PM

shooting down some thing the size of an aircraft carrier not a thought about where all the bits would land ........ i wonder did anyone try contacting them and trying a friendly hello

The captain of Alitalia Flight AZ 284 saw something alarming overhead before the missile-shaped object suddenly veered across the airliner's path.

He shouted "look out!" as he attempted to avert a mid-air collision 22,000ft above the Kent countryside, the Daily Mail newspaper reports.

Is shouting "look out!" S.O.P. for close encounters with extra terrestrial craft?
