with a lot of work it could be quite interesting. sort the body out, proper engine in the front, lowered, some decent alloys, it could look, er, not as sh*t

It could be tax exempt if it's using an original Beetle chassis... Also, presumably the V5 wouldn't say it's tax exempt anyway? The tax renewal form would just have a price of £0?
