That works out about £24.21/bhp

You can buy a ZX12R on e-bay for £1,195 which delivers 187bhp. That's an amazing £6.39/bhp.

So the jag engine isn't the bargain it may appear. Oh, and it's heavy, probably too tall and doesn't even have a gearbox. And it belongs in a vehicle that weighs 1.5 tonnes, NOT something that weighs 500kg IMO.

and if were number crunching .

volvo 740 turbo 182 hp @ £250 = £1.37 per hp - and you get a donor car with it .
