well, seem my sony 5 mp camera is playing up so been looking at the samsun L100 to replace it. £ 70 in Tesco. (comparethat to about £ 300 for my sony bought about 3 years ago)

Downside is I won't be able to use the sony memory sticks but other than that
it looks like a good 'un, small, metal body, enuf pixies and has M (manual) mode.

Has anyone got one and wish to comment?

It must be that camera technology that they have put in their new phone.

I'd make sure you have a play with one first.
I've got a Samsung mobile phone and despite being 5Mp the quality isn't that hot...

Personally for digital cameras I reckon you'll struggle to beat a Canon. Their cameras aren't always that intuitive but I love their optics- even when the lens is small the quality is excellent....
