Dont see adverts with wives giving up stuff
Seems the lads are always selling because of a baby......

"BABY FORCES SALE "

love that phrase tho i always picture a kid in a nappy forceing its parents to sell somthing

RK - 1/11/08 at 12:45 AM

True enough, but I don't care, I see a donor.

blakep82 - 1/11/08 at 01:06 AM

nooo, don't see enough P100's these days. keep it as is!

I agree - they should rather sell their jewellery such as engagement and wedding rings before the car has to go.

smart51 - 1/11/08 at 08:03 AM

adverts for cars are full of stock phrases. Baby forces sale is just a convenience. It beats "I'm flogging it before it finally blows up". It makes the sale seem more legitimate. Remember, not everything you read is true.

Or perhaps they genuinely need the money and all the mother's stuff added together isn't worth as much as the spare car.

An ideal "kids car" I would have thought.

Half a yard of sand in the back; bucket & spade; they'd play for hours.

Obviously there are some safety issues, but a wire netting roof should sort that.

I'd rather have the RD in the back in one of the pictures.

That is no excuse. I told my missus shed have to sell stuff before my car went as I am the only driver of the house. If i had no money to finish it id let it sit there til i did (which has kinda happened but back on it now). Not sell it cos i had a baby.

"Here we have"

"Not for the faint hearted (often mis-spelled as feint)"

"Drives superb"

"Lady owner"

"No tyre kickers"

"Priced to sell"

"Company car forces sale"

BenB - 1/11/08 at 11:48 AM

"first to see will buy"

I hate the obligatory incorrect "superb" a la driving ^^^^^
