Spa Treatments
Well, my wife and I were comp'ed at a swanky day spa today. It didn't cost us a penny, company gift!
We had, full body massage with hot stones?!
Skin polish?!
Hand and foot massage
Head and neck massage
Facial and skin consult
Steam Shower
Lunch
Foot Soak
Pedicure
Manicure
Paraffin Wax hand soak
We also had a full salon hair consultation and styling but seeing as the wifes mum is a hairdresser and I don't have any hair we skipped this
and the wife spent the balance ($180) on beauty products.
Now I will be honest I was apprehensive but it was a really good day, though If I was to do it again I would only have a massage.
So what other fellas have been to the spa and want to confess.
Interesting fact, Heather the girl who did my facial (c'mon be adults )is married to Brad, the big black fella who was in the BBC series
"Last Man Standing". The series where they take a gang of fellas around doing traditional fighting competitions.

Wot no "happy finish" ???
In all seriousness I've had massages (in legit hotels etc!) and they've been worth the money. Sauna / steam room / jacuzzi afterwards and
feel good. Not sure about all the other stuff above though as you said.

Surely there is a locost version?
Raid the rockery, fire up the BBQ, boil half a dozen kettles in the shed

I went to a spa last weekend. Tried to offload my treatments onto the wife but it had been arranged for us both to have treatments. Ended up having an
Indian head massage and a back massage. Very nice it was too....
I had a head massage in a hotel in Croatia but they had some bizarre new age music in the background that kept on saying things in badly translated
english like
"forget any worries what are yours"
"let the energy release your blockage"
that made me giggle....

I'm terrified of people touching me so I don't think I'll be signing up for any of that business!! A few years ago I was persuaded
to go for a Turkish Massage (in Turkey!) and I hated every minute of it!! I still have nightmares!!

Id love to go for a spa day. Had some other treatments before but mainly injury related (My mother is a trained refloxologist, bowen etc etc). Had my
first acupuncture the other week, was quite pleasant (western style just for pain relief following car accident, not the eastern type).
I really fancy trying the hot stones - sounds great. You are very fortunate getting all that on the company - nice to hear they are looking after
you.
Owelly - you should really give it a go. Fantastic.
My only bad experience was in a refloxology centre in China. Not sure if it was supposed to hurt but theer were points that really hurt - got me
worried that something was wrong, however they just said i was being a wuss (if my mates translation was to be believed, i think he told them to be
rough!). Before this they soaked my feet in hot steam and then a wallpaper type paste with rose petals in - which was nice. A bit scary when a bloke
with sharp blade started shaving hard skin off my heals though - im a bit wary of parmesan since then

I've had my back waxed once before a group holiday and I once kind of exposed myself to a masseuse in Tunisia. She asked me (in French) if I
had underpants on under my shorts, which I misinterpreted as "do you want to keep your shorts on", so I said yes resulting in her whipping
my strides down exposing my lilly white ass.
