Exhaust box cutaway pics

Does anyone have a cutaway picture or drawing of a silencer box please? I'm trying to make a better silencer for the Briggs & Stratton engine on my rotavator as it's got the standard pepperpot which (a) is noisy and (b) directs the fumes straight at your clothes so you stink of exhaust fumes after using it. I want to make a baffle-type silencer and was hoping to copy an existing design.
Can anyone help please?
Trouble with being a petrol-head, I've got the existing exhaust and the carb/inlet manifold off and was peering into the ports thinking "God look at the crappy finish on them, I could just whip off the head, get the valves out and port it", on a ruddy rotavator engine!
I need help

There was a company a while ago who took the 15Hp B&S engine... and tuned it up to 30hp.... Apparently it invalidated your waranty though :-p...
