1. have some low life (lifes) scam you of a product by paying for an item buy credit card, then claim the card has had an unauthorised transaction done.

2. Get the said item delivered to a different address than the ebay account.

3. wait a couple of months and the card owner realises that hes has either been done or is one of the low lifes.

4. Paypal have no option than to let them withdraw money from your account as you have signed away your rights when you join paypal!!

5. Now for the good bit i have proof of postage and a signatue, not that it is legible.

6. I ring up financial ombudsman service and explain the situation, he takes some details and asks me to send them a copy of the proof of postage and ebay details and paypal details.

7. wait a few weeks or months depends how busy they are they do keep in touch though and are super friendly!

8. You should, all being well get a nice man offering you money as paypal have coughed up at last!

9. since this has happened paypal have upped there protection but i am sure there are still ways of using paypal and ebay for a scam!!

10. Have a beer and put your feet up! Justice at last!

Paypal

The B$£"*&%s have suspended my paypal account . I sold a mobile phone £75.00 advertised it as uk buyers only. But a muppet from india bought it the money went in my account inc £17.00 international signed for payment. I emailed the y buyer many time to confirm if he had recieved the phone never heard another word from him. Then last sunday I won an auction for locost pedals from Echidna in Greece. When I came to pay for them I find a chargeback has been filed against me. This is presumably because mr smart arse in China ( the guy who has filed the claim) states it was unauthorised use if his card, !!!!! what they are missing here is that it is nothing to do with me !! my deal was with Mr India ( even though he is a crook) I thought all was well. Paypal and ebay are ignoring my e mails n can t pay Echidna.
I am ready to tear someones head off at the moment. I no longer have the postage cert as this was back in july.
Does anyone know where mr paypal live he needs a bloody good kicking. Any ideas of help would be appreciated.

Kev

Well, that's not strictly true... I believe they then put you account into debt and until it's resolved you can't do squat with the account.

When I sell things now it's UK only unless I get a decent email response from anyone who asks if they can bid outside the UK...
