The day will consist of Breakfast on arrival at the luxury hospitality suite overlooking the start/finish line and directly in front of the entrance to the Pit Lane. Pimms # 1 will be served at 11.00 followed by Lunch in the suite at 12.45. A Pit Lane walkabout is scheduled for 1.00pm.

Sounds a bit steep to me, we went to the test day a couple of years ago. Free to get in (I know they now charge £10-15) and then it was an extra £10 for the pit lane walk about. We walked through one of the garages that was clearing up as they weren't doing the last day of the test and then wandered round the back with all the drivers etc.

PS - one other thing, Silverstone won't guarantee how many teams will be there or how much running they will do. If it rains, you could see no-one running also, there might only be 3 teams. So it is possibly a bit misleading to say the winner will see all the teams and drivers.

It's much easier to just work there, as I used to do. You get paid to watch the testing from the top of the BRDC club house whilst having a coffee and a fag. And, if security aren't watching, you get to jump around on the podium.

The chances are that if its a test a few weeks before the Silverstone race, most of the teams will be there, if not all.
