Ford Focus central locking.

One of the rear central locking motors has died on my Focus. Anybody any tips on getting the old one out? Sure it's just nuts and bolts but always a pain in the arse working on this sort of stuff .

From what i can remember i dont think they are too bad.....

motor

r emove door panel. two small torx screws hold the outer handle on undo the rear most one and loosen the front and take the back part of the handle off then lift and slide the main handle back and out,then 3 torx bolts on the catch,take note of the small white plastic block that locates the handle where the torx screw is on the front end .wriggle the lump out in one lot disassemble to fit motor .hope that helps
