help required tin top

ik refer back to this thread regarding my mates tin top linky
he is still having the same symptoms, he has now gone back to the garage that fitted the dizzy and they are now saying that the dizzy is knackered and its the cause of the cylinder head, can anyone shed any light oin whether they are trying to pull a fast one or is there some truth in it

Ignition switch sounds faulty

Does it have a carb? If so is the choke valve opening once warmed up, that may be causing the poor hot starting or he’s just flooding it

None of the symptoms sound like a dizzy fault
