Working rev counter !
After a full 10 months on the road with no working rev counter (despite even giving in and buying one) , I finally got one in , and working
I couldnt find one I liked here (VDO 100mm , 8000 rpm) I decided to take a chance on buying one from the states , and it came today (with a £22
customs charge )
And it's allmost scary watching it hit nearly 8000 before changing gear - I knew it pulled well at higher revs , but seeing it in front of me is
amazing !
Maybe I should of got a 10000 rpm one

I was a bit worried whan I realised my rattly old Zetec was hitting over 7800!
I used to have a 323 with that V6 engine in, and that seemed quite happy to take the abuse.

I bet that engine sounds amazing with the throttle bodies and exhaust.
Especially near 8000 rpm!
