Pop across to MIRA and give the man on the gate a £tenner?
Or the Lime Kilns industrial estate is pretty quiet on a Sunday

Does it need testing that much?
There not going to be a lot wrong with and MNR is there?

I believe that Curborough is £5-600 per day....

Its more for peice of mind than anything just got these niggles that if the brakes have never been used then they arnt going to give accurate readings at the SVA and having never fun out what if its prone to over heating because ive done somthing wrong. I expect its paranoia more than anything

Yes, paranoia , but understandable I was the same.
Fortunatly I was able to test these things whilst on the way to a pre-booked MOT Unfortunatly I never made it to the MOT due to technical issues
with the exvception of bedding in your brakes, most things can be tested on your drive though, if it's going to boil it will do it standing still not moving....

I did the same as ReMan, except I actually took it for an MOT, a family friend is a tester and he put it on the brake tester for me and the emissions machine.

Just find a local MOT garage go down have a have a chat. As its not an official test im sure they will test the bits you need for a bit of cash in their pocket at the end of a day.

Then on the drive there and back you can give it a shake down. If you get stopped you just tell them about the MOT test. I find if you are sure about what you are talking about they will beleive you as the coppers dont know the ins and outs of registering a kit car. I always understood you could take a kit car for an MOT prior to SVA. That was my story anyway if i got stopped.

You can take it for an MOT pre SVA, but this can further confuse the DVLA fu**tards and end up with an annual MOT even for the first 3 years

Im not sure with the new computer MOT system you could anymore as there would be no details for them to type into the computer as you have no reg and your chassis number wouldnt be registered with the DVLA.

Best just to find a friendly tester who wouldnt mind some cash at the end of his day to use the brake tester and emissions machine. Headlight aim checker is always useful too.
