This looks like a good service to use

Its a bit pricey at 1500 quid but I can see the logic in restoration of valuable shells.

TBH £1500 seems pretty good value to me when you facto in the potnetiail time saving and quality of the prepped shell. I'd imagine it would add some value to the finished car too, particularly with receipts and photos to show the processes.

I wonder what it would cost for LSIS type chasis...? You could probably put 2 through the tanks at a time

Yeah looks good, but my current beetle if put in before I’d started restoring it, would have come out missing the entire bottom 6 inches of the car!

Not watched beetle crisis then?

Its great if the metal is solid, but it eats everything else away so you might be left with a holey mess!

A good way of determining where patches and repair panels are needed then

At which point all enthusiasm disappears when you see that half the car has vanished...

Actually my bug was so bad the shell would have collapsed if put through that process

...at which point I'd be looking for a better shell/chasis to start from myself

One less bug on the road would be no bad thing - not a fan of the infernal whole noisey WW2/surfer thang myself - each to their own though
