Some numpty in the car park here thought it would be good to run a snowman over the smokers had built, didn't realise it would drag him left and hit the landscape retaining wall. Wish camera's were allowed in here.......

I saw someone do that years ago, not realising that the snowman had been built over a bollard.

No seat belt on and smacked the windscreen with his head.

Silly boy

Cheers

Chris

Note to all: I really don't know when to leave well alone. I tried to get clever with the mods, then when they gave me a lifeline to see the error of my ways, I tried to incite more trouble via u2u. So now I'm banned, never to return again. They should have done it years ago!

They should have built the snowman over a bollard - That'd made a little scratch on his car

not me but, on monday we had about 8-10inch of snow, some IDIOT tried to get to work in a TVR. needless to say i passed him and he had ventured off the road, up the kurb, over the grass and through a fence.
Come on, really? A TVR in the snow...he deserved it i think!

Me me me, I crashed!!

Quite fun actually. My workshop is around 10 miles away from my house and I went over on monday. Having some fun with the handbrake on the way and loved it so much I decided to do the same on the way home.

Loved it too much, set up for a corner perfect... Turns out its a little sharper than I remember, too late. Thinking its ok, I'll just bounce off that hedge. Didn't realise the hedge was 3 ft below the level of the road!

Needless to say I had to be winched out by the RAC.

Looking out of my living room window at the moment watching a double decker wedged between a renault and a mini - sideways.

Cheers

We have a pub right of way over our land and decided to build a wall part way across the 50' opening. Prior to starting the wall I put a piece of thick 3"x3" angle sunk into the ground about 3 foot I the put a traffic cone over the top. This was simply to see if the beer trucks could still get in and we didn't want anyone to move the cone. First truck decided he would cut the corner and drive over the cone a little

You would not believe the damage it did, glass, lights, bodywork, fluids everywhere. he drove off swearing at us. We weren't there watching and laughing or anything we tried to warn him but he took the corner so fast we didn't get a chance

a little OT but similar to running a snowman over

i did the sideways on the company overflow carpark. Did a great 4 wheel drift - although did start to panic at the end of it as i realised i was getting close to a car (explaining that one would have been difficult - esp as you could follow my tracks and see the other 3 or 4 hand brake turns before it.

On the way into work someone went too fast into an s bend and managed to stop by parking against a car on the opposite side of the road. I only realised as i drove past thinking "strange parking ...... oh crumpled bonnet"

I ALMOST did the crashy thing. Trundling home from work on Monday morning, approached a step hill with a big heap of caution. Just as I got to the brow of the hill, I could see a snow plough stuck behind a truck and a few cars stopped. I touched the brakes and started to slide. I then flicked the Hill Descent Control button and started to slowly spin around. I was barely moving! As a last resort, I un-flicked the HDC and just had to let the car trundle past evrything on the wrong side of the road praying thet there was nothing coming up the hill!!
Range Rovers with 325/45/20 tyres are rubbish in the snow.........

yep i have had an accident, first time for driving in the snow but its been mostly fine here. Most roads are gritted. However my parents road wasn't and the last 90 degree corner i took at slow speed but not slow enough as instead the car went straight ahead into a sandstone wall.

Has put a nice big dent in the front wing, smashed a side light and the headlight is all wobbly. Need to get it fixed as its rusting very quickly!

Further to my previous post......
whilst out playing in the snow today, I hit a big snowdrift and it took off my front number plate!!!!
I was driving the Cherokee (the Range Rover would have been hopeless!) over to my Ma's house when a blizzard blow up. Within 10 minutes the road had completely filled in amd when the snow eased off a bit, it became apparant that the road was very deep where the snow had blown in between where the snow was piled on the sides of the roads by the diggers. I had to keep momentum to keep pushing through the snow and there were drifts as high as the bonnet. The good old Jeep just ploughed over, through under the drifts.......
I had to stop at a clear bit to scoop the snow from the radiator grill and headlights and that's when I noticed the missing number plate. I'm off to look for it tomorrow.....
