I like the song a bit but found that performance a touch wooden.
I was waiting for some retired lady to be sick over the vicar after eating a home baked scone.
Shame it needed a 6 year old in the front row to point out who the band was.

No-one has criticized the OP as far as I can see. Just commented on what they like / dislike.

Music is like modern art. You either love it or hate it. Nothing wrong with either. Thats why there are so many choices.

"i happen to not particularly like Brie, yet if someone mentioned that they really liked it I wouldnt go on a tirade:"
Do you also write for the Daily mail, because that post showed an excellent ability to removal all context from a quote.

Yes of course people are entitled to their own personal opinions. But not their own personal opinons presented as their own personal fact. Each to
their own and freedom of speech does not indicate an implicite right to be overtly critical of somebody because of their opinions.
What a load of guff! I have opinions and as far as I am concerned they are my own personal facts. If that upsets you then you had better learn to live
with it because there are plenty more where those came from.
Having said that, Coldplay not being very good goes well beyond my own personal opinion, and is an observable fact.

Ill revert back to my original statement here and reiterate that theres a definite undercurrent of unnecessary critique and spitefulness at times on
this forum.
Certain members definitely take it upon themselves to only comment on something when they disagree or disapprove.
Thats the last I'll say on the issue as generally this is not the case and this board is filled with intelligent, informative and friendly
people. As far as for those who dont fall under this umbrella, they are easily ignored.
I'd also like to say that this comment isnt generated solely on a silly discussion of coldplays musical talents, and I greatly respect most
people on both sides of this musical fence.

I hate this kind of bo$$ocks. Have the bottle to name names, or stay out of this discussion. 'Certain members', and everybody having to
guess who you mean.

TBH I never watched the whole video including stage dives etc. because I didn't like it, didn't think it was worth me watching it. I
don't like Coldplay and IMHO doing a puppet show for a video isn't that "clever". Different maybe, but not
"clever". It was only what 30, 40, 50 years ago since there were loads of puppeteers and ventriloquists and the skill just got lost a bit
due to telly I suppose but the video to me was no different to Team America.
I'm not trying to have a pop at anyones opinions and I can see that some are getting on their high horses because someone dared to say Coldplay
are rubbish. Just my opinion that's all. Take it or leave it. You can even tell me to stick it up my arris, I don't mind, just offering my
thoughts

Still waiting for a reply to this Craig, or for you to delete your ealrier comments about 'certain members'
I see you have been on the forum since I posted asking you to clarify matters, and I see you have chosen not to do so. I expect you realise that you
have done wrong, but are not planning to put things right. Not appropriate to criticise 'certain people' if you are going to behave like
that yourself.
Should you choose to delete your earlier remarks then I will delete my replies, and it will all be forgotten.

Calm down John. You sound a bit like the school bully. "Do as I say and you'll be okay". I don't think you should be giving
ultimatums to anyone. Just ignore the comment if you don't agree with it

Calm down? Who said I was cross, I didn't
Nor did I say he had to do as I said. He can ignore it if he wants, never-the-less he made a snide remark about 'certain members' and
I've called him to either back it up or delete it. You can ignore it if you want, but I am not going to.
I've offered him the chance to put things right by deleting the (IMHO) downright rude remarks, and if he chooses to do the right thing and do so
I will of course have to delete the posts where I've quoted him.
I don't know if he was referring to me when he said 'certain members' but, from the context of this thread alone, it certainly seems
that way. I think he may well have been referring to you too. I've always despised that sort of thing, making unpleasant remarks and presumably
being ready to say "Oh I didn't mean you" when challenged.
Until he clarifies or deletes my remarks stand, and my invitation to him to do the right thing stands too.
Trust that makes my position clearer

Whatever mate. I really don't mind if he was referring to me (so feel free to name me). Its' an internet forum. I don't know him and
he doesn't know me, it's hardly going to result him coming around to my house. For what it's worth I am a miserable shit, I know
this but I gave my honest "opinion". I know I probably don't post as many "useful" posts as others but I'd rather
not post if I'm not certain. Either way it's no skin off my nose.

Not bashing you CD, but I think you're WAAAY off the mark with that particular comment.
This is without doubt the most polite and helpful car-related website that I've ever come across. The craic is top-notch and the digs are
usually tongue-in-cheek!
Yes - there will always be some differences of opinion and things may even get heated from time to time, but that's just the way it is!

Ah... Rod Stewart. Again, not very fashionable nowadays, but boy was he good in his day(s).
One of the best male lead vocalists this country has ever produced (IMHO!).
Can you give a specific date or dates for the above because I must have been out then and missed it. He's always sounded like he was getting
over laryngitis to me.
yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

I'm inclined to agree with Scootz, I think Rod Stewart pobably is the best Scottish male singer.
Fortunately I live in England (I think Rod does too)

I always judge each issue on its merits, and you can rely on me to agree with you every time you are right.
Not my fault if that hasn't happened very often
