Yes, nice engine indeed, but there are tons of nice engines out there and tons of niiiiiiiiiiiice V8's. I suspect there are 'better'
one's that are easier to tune.....
Do you want to use one of these in something other than the original car?

The p100 is going v6 but if one of these was about mmmmm
With this engine one of the problems is the chocolate camshafts and the interference design of the valves and pistons.

I have never had much to do with volvo other than marine and the one we used for the camera crew to go to rome with.
But a good friend is living in Sweden so I may just have a look at what the crazy swedes are up to.
