Those hospital tables that fit over beds
What are they called, and where could I buy some?
I've decided they would be ideal for me, I end up with tools, materials and wiring diagrams spread and balanced precariously over engine
compartments, so something like that would be ideal, just set the height and wheel it over the car.

My granddad had one when he was ill. Got it from one of them mobility dissability places.
Fairly cheap too.

Not sure where or how big you want it but try a search for "overbed table"

I've had a look, would like to buy second hand proper ones ideally.
I might consider making some. Just need to find some convenient tube sizes, so one could fit inside the other without wobbling too much

I got one at an Emaus (charity shop) in France. One of the best things I have ever bought.

they are called 'mayo' tables - not, i'm guessing from the salad dressing, but from either the Mayo clinic or a surgeon called
Mayo.... The use them in operating theatres - one of those would be good as they are designed to take weight and be easily cleanable - are usually
stainless steel.... where to find one - not sure - ebay??
Chris
Edited - found one
here but it might be a bit small!
