Hi, my mum has a crv and the abs light has come on, its due an mot at the end of the month, will it fail?
If so, can i disable the light and how

I had this problem with the vectra, it would fail. You could try simply removing the bulb but I'm sure they test the ABS and it’s obviously that
it has it fitted

Yes it will fail.
ABS if fitted is a testable component.
Taking the bulb out shouldn't work as the tester should notice it's fitted and ask why it doesn't light up when he
turns the key

To get it through the MOT you can pull off the wire to the ABS light and put a temporary feed from the ignition warning light. Lights up with the
ignition on, goes out when the engine starts.
Do satisfy yourself that there is nothing fundamentally wrong with the brakes first though! (It's nearly always just a faulty sensor)
