Bloody TNT!
Sent off three packages (stuff I'd sold on ebay)... thought the collection driver was a bit slap-dash when filling out his paperwork, but
figured he knew what he was doing.
Turns out all three were delivered to the wrong address! He'd put the wrong barcode on the parcels, so despite them being properly marked
address wise, TNT in their wisdom relied on the barcode.
Gets better...
Everyone signed for the wrong package (despite them all being addressed for someone else), and one of them was for onward transmission to France...
yes, it's been sent!
Going to take a bit of time to sort this one out... I guess I'm going to get my first negative feedback after nearly 300 positive ones!!!

I once packed two different ebay items in identical boxes , sold both the same day , and sent them each to the wrong address
I simply payed them both the postage and had them send each other the parcels , rather than send them back to me - amazingly , I got positive feedback
from both buyers
Its cuz I is blond , innit

Its not just TNT, its all of the couriers, they are shite! We sent 4 packages, 2 to spain, 2 to croatia on the same day, all 4 were delivered to
croatia. Also had 2 packages sent to the same address instead of 2 different ones. I know only ever send 1 a day with the same courier, if i need to
send more than one i use different couriers. I also try and use a company where you have to print out the bar code yourself and stick it on the
package (DHL do this)

Can't remember which courier it was (shitty link?) but we once had a laptop delivered to us at work. No packaging or battery but an address,
phone number and a charger. We rang the guy who it should have gone to (in Kent) and he said he'd already received his new laptop. Rang the
courier and they weren't bothered so I searched out a battery for it formatted the Mofo with windows xp pro = free laptop

We're a drugs company so you'd expect the couriers to take notice when we give them stuff.
We gave them two parcels, correctly packaged, addressed everything. One to Germany, one to Ireland. Guess what .... both went to the wrong place.
Years ago we had a laptop go missing. It was blank but no one outside of the team knew this. The response from the courier - its insured isn't
it? claim on that! Strangely we've never used them since.
Once bought some cider from a company who posted it. Courier called me as he'd dropped the box marked fragile, liquid etc. He was poo'ing
himself as he saw the address was pharmaceuticals and the back of his van was wet / the box had a tinkling sound. When i said its not toxic / you
don't need the police / fire brigade etc he wanted to deliver the box to me! I spent 5 minutes on the phone trying to explain "don't
bother, I won't sign for it". He was most upset and kept pointing out how much grief this would cause him.
Thing to realise is a very high percentage of couriers are actually not part of the courier company. They're all franchised into little regions
and blokes buy a van and then do the job running to / from the local hub. More they do, more money they make.

And it's all my fault... apparently! I shoud have cross referenced the barcodes that the collection guy put on - yes, I can read barcode!
Gets better - suggested that they forward the correct pacel straight to France by way of compensation for the cock-up... not a chance! Apparently
they don't even have to sort out the mess they made. They're only going to attempt to do so as an obligement!
Bollocks!
