Start at around 18-20 psi. Adjust as you find necessary!

If its broke, fix it. If it aint broke, take it apart and find out how it works!

I started off a bit too low at 16 PSI. Adding a PSI at a time on the track gave me more grip each time until I woosed out. I settled at 20 PSI for a bit then went up to 21. There is slight evidence of more tyre wear in the centre on the rears than the edges so I'll go back down a bit.

For a while I ran a PSI or 2 more in the rear than the front. The lower pressure in the front gave less front end grip than rear end grip balancing the car up. Since then I'd raised the rear ride height 1/4 turn which gave the same effect.

i run approx 18psi on my 195/50 x 15's on the roads. Good starting point.

Are we allowed to quote imperial pressures in public? Approx 1.3 bar (iirc)

Hi,

thanks for asking & answering this question guys, I was meaning to ask too.

Can I also check, am I right in saying that some extra tyre pressure for SVA is good to help with self-centering? I can't remember if it was more or less but I think it was more pressure for SVA. I should have a decent amount of castor already so hopefully won't need to adjust my tyre pressure much if at all.

Cheers,
Craig.

I wound my front pressures up to 30psi for SVA, self centering wasnt a problem!

Tyre dependant - but some go down as low as 14psi.... especially when tracking!
