7.5 ton license

gonna need to find a new job soon

i'm diabtic but always wanted to get a LGV license, but soon had an end put to that, am i right in thinking 7.5 ton is the biggest i can get? will trying to get a license open up much of an oppertunity for more work for me now that people don't get 7.5 ton automatically?

what's it likely to cost?

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

I think it's about £900ish, as for whether it's worth it there are a lot of people who already have the entitlement and are looking for work after being laid off from different careers.

There was a shortage, but with all the polish and people being made redundant who have 7.5t entitlement now looking there's not much about, there may be a shortage for class 1 drivers, i thought about doing my class 2 but at £1200 and no guarantee of work i'm not so sure now

Your diabetes wont affect your ability to pass a class one my dad is diabetic and has been driving class 1 for 25 years!
there is no shortage of drivers or hauliers now, my fatehr is looking at loosing his company due to lack of work, his truck has been stood for two weeks.
anyone looking for work as a HGV driver should invest in hiab and ADR training to maximise there chances, a CPC or international CPC would help too.

there just is no work about.
