Ordering gasket sets (a moan)
Ordered a bottom end gasket set for my 96 (p reg) 2.0 mondeo silvertop zetec. But because i dnt note down the reg at the scrap yard and the minor
thing that it doesnt have an engine number on it the local motor factors seem to have 1000's of listings for zetecs with the above spec.
Ordered the bottom end set the other day opened it up tonight to do some bits guess what..... wrong bits.
How many different variations of a 1996 silvertop 2.0 zetec out of a mondeo are there? and when did the blacktop take over 98/99?
Just makes me wonder if they have supplied the right headset that i have used. Dont fanc changing the stem seals again.
This happen to anyone else? I mean all they do is supply parts so you would think that they would be able to sort something out. Ill go to ford next
time.

its a phase 2. It was the oil pump gasket that was different, 2 bolts lined up and the rest were off by a good 1/4 inch. Lets hope they have it there
tomorrow....
