R.I.P. Pontiac
GM have announced the phasing out of the Pontiac Brand,
with Hummer, Saturn and Saab to follow!

Pontiac goes the way of Oldsmobile, -- a least Chevrolet survives.
Ditching Saab is madness ---- shows how much the SAAB brand was damaged by a flawed engine design and just being a much improved Opel/Vauxhall.
I really don't expect the Vauxhall name or plant to survive.

I was under the impression that Saab were going to separate from GM but continue operating?
My Ma is currently in the throws of choosing a new car and I had suggested saab but maybe thats not such a good idea now.
