Very odd Rangerover spotted...

Just spotted on Baker St (London) a left hand drive RR Sport V8 Supercharged with virtually blacked out windows and a very odd number plate: 500C0510, yellow digits on a green background (embossed metal plate).

I'm familiar with D and X plates, but never hear of a C plate - anyone have any idea what it might be?

No country identification letters...

Probably a French dipomatic plate like this one:

It most likely was 500CD510 rather than 500C0510

According to this page and this one 500 is "International high representatives"

Google is your friend

Yup - think that's it. Hmm, so while this guy might have immunity in France, I suspect it won't apply outside of France (otherwise he would be on a regular D or X plate).

So hopefully he'll get nicked for his ridiculous tints
