Tyres for Tin Top

I need a new set of front tyres for the daily driver. It's a (fast) FWD diesel.

The original tyres are Dunlop SP SportMaxx at £129 each.

Tempted by either Yokohama PARADA SPEC 2 @ £112 each or the Toyo Proxes T1-R @ £108 each.

Trouble is, I'm worried about the wear rate on the softer tyres. Which may cut the life of them down, meaning I need another set earlier!

Any recommendations?

Mike
