don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

Yup, have done for ages, you try turning a 270 section tyre with a 1.5 turn lock-to-lock steering rack

think about it...
probably about 1 turn lock to lock, i think there slightly heavier than the average 7 and also think about all the downforce they have making the
front even heavier...
and then bend after bend for 2 hours... would you want to do it without powersteering?

The last company I worked for made power steering, electric power steering in our case. We sold them to Fiat amongst others and they would only agree
to taking EPAS if we developed a system for their F1 team. We didn't want to. They only decided against because of the power drain. F1 cars
don't have a big electrical system but do have plenty of hydraulics. We got away with that one then.

They did it in the 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's, and part of the 90's
How long can i resist the temptation to drop a V8 in?
