quickie: whens my MOT due?

is there a quick way of finding out when my MOT is due or expired?

Suddenly had a panic last night that I might be driving around without an MOT (not long had the car) and I live/work away from where all my paperwork is.

i was thinking this the other day, its a bit annoying that dvla don't write to you each year to remind you like they do with tax. tax date is written all over the front of the car!

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

both those sites are a bit annoying, ok you can use the v5c, but one option is the ref number off the mot. well, ok, but if i had that i'd read the date off it

i always bin that don't like stickers stuck all over my windscreen

although, i just did the online thing, my cars in for its mot today, found the one that runs out, put in the info and got this

Make of the vehicle: BMW
Model of the vehicle: 328I SPORT
Test Result: Certificate Issued (Pass)
Colour of the vehicle: BLUE
Date of test: 11/07/2008
Expiry date: 10/07/2009
Odometer Reading: 137440 Miles
VTS undertaking the test: 96166
VTS telephone number: 01475724881

There are later tests for this vehicle under a more recent Test Number.

the last bit's interesting, does that suggest it passed?

edit, no, forget that, it means they tested it, but could still show a fail. best phone them...
