Stand in your garden and wave when the satellite is going over
Also this discussion has been on other car forums. Do you want everyone to know where you live? A town or region is OK, but I believe with these
google views can't you scroll right down to the street and almost pinpoint which house (or group of houses)
EDIT: just checked on someone that I know where they live, and the arrow is a few streets away, so maybe there is a bit of safety there.

so long as people are listed as towns and not detailed postcodes it should be fine.
edit: message to the fozster; make it a sticky!

Thanks for that Steve and Ben....
Yes...it HAS been a sticky since the 21st of JUNE
Perhaps people should try and do a search first?
Although, Ben has not made peoples locations exact, if it was on the front page, it can be seen by anyone and everyone, and, yes...anyone and everyone
can read the forums, but it is more of a hassle if you are not signed up/registered.
Again, I think peeps are being a tad lazy, as in, the user profiles have a facility for members to add their locations, if they haven't, then
perhaps u2u them?
It is a sticky in 'clubs and events' for the reason that members usually want to know where others are to organise or join in a local
meet.........I cannot see any valid reason (personally) for the sticky to be anywhere else.
Please use your 'noggins'!
Familiarise yourselves with the forum layouts and sections.
Most posts are in the appropriate place........
IMHO the front page is NOT appropriate for this....

Yeah, locations at randomly placed in the area of the persons town. People that send me their postcodes just help me to find their towns. even my own
location is miles from my house.
