Tin Top Problem
Hi, I have a Renault Laguna MK1
I have a squealing noise when driving on low speeds. Most of the time is under acceleration from a standstill but keeps doing it till i reach 25-30
and not all the time.
Last week i had the rear drums cleaned as the pivot points were squealing and i was hoping that this would sort it out.
But no. It hasn't sorted out.
Any ideas?

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

I hope it is not the clutch release bearing.
The fan belt will be changed in my next oil change in 2-3 weeks.
It did squeal sometimes during winter but since the weather got warm, i have never had an issue again.
It sounds like a metalic squeal.
The discs must have been replaced before i got it. They are in good condition. They do have some slight warping but they are not bend. The pads are as
well in good condition as there is plenty of meat in them.

+ wouldn't the fan or waterpump do the same when stationary?
Mine squeals only when it's moving.

I have been thinking of that.
It's just annoying as the car has only 92K
