350 new jobs at nissan
as title says.. 350 jobs coming to nissan making electric car batteries.. Anyone interested ill try to keep upto date with when forms are out..

Ill defo be interested please. Looking for Project Engineering / management, new product development etc type jobs at the moment. Been out of work for
couple of months, now seriously looking for new position.

Just been on the news. Building a new factory to make the batteries. Fingers crossed Sunderland gets the cars too.

have no more info yet but soon as i do will keep you informed.. When forms are out ill let you know but they defo arent yet.. Job centres will have
them as well.. If theyre building an electric car as well as what we make now god knows how they will squeeze it in.. Or replace. With qashqai and the
qazana looking to fill the plant and note still got few years left there may be more jobs later on

how can it be green? pollution is caused in manufacturing the batteries as well as in generating the electricity for them.
been thinkign abou this - which is less polluting and more efficient - an oil fired power station - convert fuel to heat to electricity then to
motion, including all loses in each convertsion or a modern petrol engine that converts fuel to heat then to motion?

another 100 fixed term temporary jobs announced today - on the production line - due to high demand for qashqai - probably for at least the next 3
months.
