"I’d just like to make a statement on this sad affair.
The post I made was intended as a joke, nothing more. In retrospect I can see that it was capable of misinterpretation, and I regret that this seems
to be the case.
I haven’t been banned from Locostbuilders before, I have had one incident with ChrisW when he refused to remove posts which I thought was libellous.
My posting style reflects the way I am, plain speaking and light hearted sometimes this is misinterpreted in the sterile environment of the
internet
I quote ChrisW

My posts are available via the search facility, a matter of record. This post was the only one I made on any subject even vaguely related to the
change on the forum. I received no email or U2U asking me to stop.
I’m sorry that this has happened to spoil such a wonderful resource, and sorry for my part in it.
I would have been happy to apologise to Chris or Fozzie and even accepted being suspended for a while if that would have diffused the situation but a
life ban for a simple joke seems excessive to me. I would love to come back someday.
I’ve accepted the situation and I think we all need to move on, please don’t post anymore threads on this subject, or post in the existing threads,
either here or on the Haynes forum, it’s not helping.
So this is it.
I’d like to say thank to each and everyone of you who’ve helped me out or made me laugh over the years, it’s been a blast.

People need to remember it’s very easy to take or make a joke the wrong way on a forum.
Everyone needs to be careful and think about what they type and how they interpret what’s been posted, before reacting.
