Help before a dream dies

I am in big frustration. I am about to sell up all the parts that I have collected.
I was planning on building a McSorley +442 or +664 based on an MX5. I haven’t done a lot of progress because I was looking to find a way to register the car here and then export it to Greece. Legislation though has been keeping me from my build and so far I have only been collecting parts that I thought would be very useful when it started.
I am after a Factory Build car on a tight budget and LHD.
What are my options?

i will probaly get shot down in flames for saying this...

but here goes...

i was down at GTS picking up some bits a couple of weeks ago and darren has produced a seven that uses the mx-5 as a donor...
maybe you can get him to build you one then export it.

might be worth a look.

Why can't you buy a ready built car and export it ?

Yes. There is one but:

It is not Factory build
My wide arse cannot fit in it.

I believe it to be a std. McSorley chassis based

Due rule changes the SVA is replaced by the IVA. If the vehicle meets the requirements you will get an IAC.
This IAC must be accepted by the Greeky..
They may only test the parts which are tested lower than the national tests in Greece.
They also must exactly say what they are going to test, including the costs.
read page 18 and 19:

link

You can also do the IVA in another country.

Rules changes are based on this, article 24:
