Anyone on here with an Audi Q7
Been thinking of replacing the Missus's Mazda MPV which is getting a bit past its sell by date with an Audi Q7, that was before I found out that
6-8000 miles is about the norm before the tyres are nacked.
This and build quality/fuel consumption probs is rapidly making me have a change of mind.
Anyone on here got one and had the above problems.
Cheers,
Bob

The Q7 really isn't very good in terms of packaging. It's massive on the outside and small on the inside... I think there are better
models in the Audi range - didn't know about the tyre issues - I wonder if it's the same on the Q5

Not been in a Q7, but have friends with V6 and V10 Touregs - same group platform. Both have moaned about tyre wear and fuel consumption (doh!).
Both would like to change their vehicles for something more sensible, but having bought from new they're looking at rather harsh depreciation -
silly billys eh!

A used Toureag is much better value.....
Get the 3Ltr v6 TDI... very very nice engine
My old man has the altitude version with the big alloys on it... he recons to get around 12-15K from a set of rubbers....

We hired one last year on Holiday, massive dissapointment - I expected it to be similar to My old x5 or Range Rover - it wasnt a patch on either -
Range Rover would be my choice everytime loads better drive, better engine (TDV8) - cant say on tyre wear but all big 4x4 tend to be a little bad

My mate also has the 08 Q7 S-line 3ltr TDI (not the same "mate" is it?), Beautiful car just changed tyres at 12k. I would never compare
a Range Rover to a Q7. The Range Rovers look very dated compared to the Q7. The Q7 Tdi averages 30mpg on a run and is a superb car with loads of
power with the added benefit of 7 seats should you ever need them. Q7 All the way!
