Does anyone know where I can purchase a couple of meters of say 25mm/5mm aluminium bar in our area?

look up the yellow pages for scrap metal dealer

I have one up here who lets me just wander around with a hard hat and help myself to whatever I want, then asks for a few quid for it, its great
