a couple of pics of the progress I've made in the last 3 weeks

I've just hit the annual quiet patch at work so have been trying to make as much use of my time off as possible... Here's a few pics of what I've been upto in the last 2-3 weeks...

Oh and a massive, massive, massive thanks to wrigglypig (aka kev) who has helped me so much so far. Absolute legend

kev the miscreant lurking on my drive

9am this morning

just need to finish cleaning the garage out and then I'll have some room to work on it all

good work, but be brutal with the clean up - you will use all the space you clear, and more

donor looked pretty tidy.

you know, I was looking at the shell this morning running through the list in my head "Have I got absolutely everything I need off this thing?"...

bastard! Atleast it's not something I absolutely need within the next couple of days so I'll search one out... I am a silly sod

You're not alone mate, quite alot forget that and the horn!!

Why bother with the grabber, why didn't you just get your neighbour to just pick it up and sling on a trailer, in-between drinks though

Vicky will be pleased!!

See you soon.

And when you do get it, cut out the bit of metal that it fits into. it will make life SOOOOOOO much easier when it comes to fitting sender to tank.

Beware of the Goldfish in the tulip mines. The ONLY defence against them is smoking peanut butter sandwiches.

If you do find one at the scrappers and want to cut out the tank around the sender then fill up the fuel tank with water before attacking it with the tool. Like said above it is easier to fit the sender to you new tank if you've got the twisty bit that locks the sender in.
