don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

I've seen various karts with bike engines attached, and to be honest not one of them has been any good. The engines are just too heavy and the gearing is all wrong for a kart, the power delivery is just too vicious, good for going sideway but that about it. Not to mention there is next to nowhere you could actually run it, a kart track won't let you, and you could never make it road legal. I think kart engine should be used on karts, after all a 250 Gearbox kart is good for 170mph, if you don't find that scary enough god know what would scare you.

170mph with your backside 2 inches off the floor? Must look like 800mph!

Never Drive Anything You Wouldn’t Like To Crash In

“Never To Drive Anything I Wouldn’t Like To Have a Crash In” This is my philosophy on everything I’ve ridden/driven.

Looks fun but even on a track I would not like to have any kind of “off” in that

I was tempted to have a go at building one after seeing a bike engine kart at santapod , that had a 600 engine and struggled to go in a straight line down the strip .But after seeing it driven and considering that my legs would be the crumple zone decided against it too.

I wouldn't like to have a crash in anything!

This gives me the mental image of you looking at a car on a stand at some show and saying to the owner "I wouldn't mind getting THAT wrapped around a tree!"
